Tipperary Senior hurling: great to see both Conor Bowe and Gearóid O’Connor starting for Liam Cahill’s Tipperary against Galway today. Both lads representing their club supremely well with Gearóid earning the man of the match award scoring 1-13 from frees and play and Conor also picking up 2 points from play.
It’s Gearoid’s second MOTM performance for Tipp in a week and also earned the same award for UL in their Fitzgibbon cup match against UCC.
The club will be well represented in the Fitzgibbon cup semi-finals this Wednesday with no less than 4 panelists between the 2 games; Ciarán Lloyd and Shane Lowe (Mary Immaculate College), Éanna Guilfoyle (SETU Waterford) and of course Gearóid O’Connor who starts for UL. Best of luck to all involved.
