Third level hurling honours: the club was well represented in the higher education GAA finals this weekend. Both Ciarán Lloyd and Shane Lowe were on the victorious Mary Immaculate College team in the Fitzgibbon final. They overcame UL who had another clubman in Gearóid O’Connor as their talisman. Diarmuid Leahy was also on the Garda College team who won the Ryan cup final the same day. Congratulations to all involved.

1971 celebration: our Senior county champions from 1971 had their 50th anniversary plans scuppered by Covid in 2021. It is hoped to mark the occasion again with mass and refreshments in Moyne in the near future to which all are welcome. In the meantime the committee would really appreciate any photographs from this day so they can be displayed on the night. Photos can be given to any committee member.
